内容摘要

话剧翻译是文学翻译中一个不可缺少的重要组成部分。然而,由于它的特殊性,人们很少从文化视角并同时结合舞台演出对话剧进行研究。文化是话剧翻译中的重要因素之一。源语文化能否在目的语中准确传达,并且为目的语观众所接受是话剧翻译成功与否的关键。《日出》是曹禺先生的主要代表作之一。剧本以陈白露和方达生为中心,展现了社会各阶层的生存状态,力求表现社会生活的真实面貌。从文化角度看,这部话剧为我们提供了观察话剧翻译中文化因素处理的极好的研究个案。本文以巴恩斯的译本为研究对象,以文化因素为主要切入点,结合奈达的功能对等理论,对以舞台演出为导向的剧本英译文进行分析,以期总结出话剧中文化翻译的策略,从而对话剧中文化因素的翻译加深认识。
