从接受理论的视角看翻译过程中的译者

内容摘要

翻译作为一种复杂而必要的人类交流手段已经拥有上千年的历史,然而综观中西翻译史,大多数的翻译研究集中在翻译标准、译文比较、翻译批评等问题上,而忽略了翻译中的一个重要因素译者。随着翻译实践的深入,翻译研究也越来越全面,一些研究者也逐渐开始了对译者的关注和探讨。译者作为翻译过程中的一个动因有着不可替代的重要意义。译者在整个过程中发挥的作用远不是单一角色可以完成的,本文从接受理论的全新的角度出发,着重分析译者这个最具活力的因素在翻译过程中所扮演的角色,探寻了影响译者的主要因素。接受理论是20世纪60年代由德国的姚斯和伊塞尔为代表的康斯坦次学派提出的重要文学理论,它标志着文学研究从以文本为中心转变到以读者为中心。接受理论强调读者对文本的重要性为翻译研究提供了全新的解释视角,因为译者在翻译过程中首先是原文的读者,所以接受理论在翻译研究中使译者的地位得到提升和彰显。本文主要从介绍了接受理论的基本概念以及翻译过程入手,分析了译者作为特殊读者在翻译的两次接受过程中的所起的作用。在第二次接受过程中,译者必须考虑目的语读者的存在,预测读者的接受水平和审美情趣,从而使得翻译作品更加确切,达到与原文同样的效果。所以文章在最后提出译者可以通过提高一些影响因素来促进翻译实践,最终达到推进翻译研究的目的。
