模得：英语专业免费师范生英语阅读教学策略培训

2007年,国务院决定在教育部直属6所师范大学实行师范生免费教育。从此以后,免费师范生的教师专业发展问题备受瞩目。一般来说,英语专业的免费师范生都有英语教学法等课程,但是,关于英语教学策略的更为具体的课程显得不足。于是,免费师范生对在特定的教学环境下应该如何去表现或者如何去开展教学活动,还比较茫然。因此,本研究基于一个自建的名为“模得”的培训模型,进行了一个实验,以考察训练英语专业免费师范生的英语阅读教学策略的有效性。实验前一周,来自西南大学外国语学院英语教育专业三年级两个班的学生接受了关于英语阅读教学策略熟悉度的前调查。根据调查结果,40名受试被挑选出来组成实验组和控制组。实验组的20名受试接受名为“模得”的培训,控制组的20名受试则不接受培训。实验进行时长为5周。在最后一周,两组受试在实验结束后完成关于英语阅读教学策略熟悉度的后调查。实验结果显示,在接受“模得”模型的培训后,受培训者对于英语阅读教学策略的熟悉程度有显著提高。本研究对于理论和实践都有一定的贡献。在理论方面,本研究证实了自建培训模型“模得”在培训英语专业免费师范生的英语阅读教学策略上的有效性。在实践方面,本研究对于师范大学和英语教师都有一定意义。一方面,本研究说明,师范大学在英语专业免费师范生的课程里应开设英语教学策略培训等方面的课程。另一方面,“模得”的有效性的证实提醒在职的英语教师和英语师范生,在闲暇时间要重视自身英语教学策略知识的培养和实践。
