基于自我调节学习理论的英语写作教学研究

内容摘要

本文致力于研究自我调节学习在中国英语专业学生写作过程中的运用前景,以期帮助学生对自己的写作过程进行自我调节,从而提高其英语写作水平。基于Zimmerman的自我调节学习理论,前人的研究表明学生自我调节学习的能力与其写作成绩存在正相关关系。然而,这些研究并未指出自我调节学习如何对学生的写作成绩产生影响,以及是在哪些方面有助于提高学生的写作成绩,尤其是在英语作为外语的学习环境之下。因此,本文认为,自我调节学习会对学生的英语写作信念及其写作习惯产生正面的影响,从而使其在英语写作的内容、结构和语言形式方面都有所提高。本实证研究以云南财经大学英语专业二年级的两个班学生作为研究对象。每个班级各30人。其中一个班级的学生被随机选为实验组,参加以自我调节学习理论为基础的写作教学,另一个班则为对照组,只进行常规的英语写作教学。本研究采用限时作文、调查问卷、写作注释和访谈等方法来收集定量和定性资料。通过对所得结果的分析和讨论,本研究的主要发现如下:1.自我调节学习能够对学生的英语写作信念及其写作习惯产生正面的影响。一方面,学生在写作过程中,对文章的内容和结构方面提高了重视。另一方面,学生的写作兴趣和自信都有所提高,并且能够有效地控制整个写作过程。2.学生的写作能力,不管是在内容、结构方面,还是在语言形式方面,都得到了显著的提高。3.学生对这一新的学习方式持积极态度,并愿意在今后的英语写作过程中继续使用。最后,根据以上发现,本文对中国英语写作教学提出了一些建议,同时也指出了本研究的局限性以及对将来研究的展望。
