幽默话语的语用研究：幽默言语行为与语用策略

内容摘要

本文将美国近期最受欢迎的情景喜剧“老友记”作为个案研究对象,以言语行为理论为支撑,研究幽默话语的言语行为及其语用策略。本文旨在考察幽默话语如何完成一般言语行为“以言行事”的过程,并探索幽默话语作为特殊言语行为的三种“以言成事”行为,探索说话人运用幽默话语实现其交际功能的一系列策略以及情景喜剧制造幽默效果的策略。本研究不仅对提高英语幽默的理解和应用水平有所裨益,也有助于深化我们对英语情景喜剧的认识和理解。全文共分为六章。第一章介绍本研究的理论基础、研究目的、研究方法及全文的框架。第二章探讨幽默的定义、分类和前人的研究成果与不足,阐述言语行为理论的基本内容和对于幽默话语研究的适用性。第三至第五章是本文的重点。根据约翰·兰索·奥斯汀(John Langshaw Austin,1962)的言语行为理论,言语行为分为:以言指事,以言行事和以言成事三个层面。幽默作为一种特殊的言语行为频繁地出现在人们的交际行为中,既要完成一般言语行为的“以言行事”功能,又具有特殊的“以言成事”的任务。据此作者从幽默话语的“以言行事”和“以言成事”两个层面出发分别讨论幽默言语行为在这两方面的完成情况。第三章详细探讨了幽默话语如何完成一般言语行为的“以言行事”过程。按照塞尔(Searle,1969)对言语行为的分类,作者先将幽默话语进行了分类,并通过数据分析得出了
