图式理论在高中英语词汇教学中的应用

内容摘要

词汇是英语的三大要素之一。英国著名的语言学家Wilkins曾经说过：没有语法,只能表达一点点东西；没有词汇,什么也表达不了。学生只有掌握了足够的词汇,才能感受到英语这种语言的魅力。没有一定的词汇量,学生领悟不到英语歌曲所要表达的情感；体会不到英语篇章的语言力量,从而无法与作者进行内心深处的交流；无法与别人用英语畅所欲言；无法在纸上随心所欲地用英语表达自己的观点和见解；即听、说、读和写都会遇到障碍。由此可见词汇的掌握在英语学习的重要性。图式理论的精髓在于强调人们的知识不是杂乱无章的堆在头脑里面的,而是按一定的范畴或节点连在一起,有组织的存放在人脑当中。对于刚出现的需要我们掌握的新知识,不能机械的死记硬背,日复一日的苦念。新的知识要长久牢固地储存在脑海中,要善于分析,把它们融入到已有的知识结构中。针对当前学生们在记忆单词时所遇到的困难与疑惑,本人提出：把图式理论应用到单词的记忆和学习中,以期减轻他们的负担,提高词汇学习的效率和增强他们的学习兴趣与热情。
