内容摘要

随着全球化的不断发展,英语逐渐发展成一种国际语言。英语具备适应不同文化和反映不同文化特点的能力,因此英语的全球化伴随着英语在世界各地的本土化。英语与中国文化的结合便形成了具有中国特色的英语变体-中国英语。“中国英语”作为英语在中国的国别变体的提出,对我国英语教学有着重要的启示。我国目前英语教学走进了一个误区,即侧重对外国文化的输入和输出,特别是对外国文化的介绍与传播,而忽视了中国文化在英语教学中的重要性,因此导致了“中国文化失语”现象。本文以语言与文化的关系和跨文化交际能力为理论基础,论述了英语在全球化背景下中国文化在英语教学中的重要性,目的在于使人们意识到中国文化在英语教学中的重大作用和意义。最后,本文在实践和理论的基础上,提出了在英语教学中融入中国文化的可行性的建议和方法,以加强和促进英语教学中中国文化教学实践,并最终提高学生跨文化交际能力,使其在国际交流中保持民族身份,传播中国文化,提高中国在国际社会中的地位。
