中国英语学习者英语心理使役动词习得研究

内容摘要

本研究意在发现中国英语学习者对英语心理使役动词习得存在的问题。中国的英语学习者常犯英语心理动词述语错误。同时，我们发现大部分英语心理使役动词与相对应的汉语心理使役动词具有不同的语义和句法结构，根据分类，英语心理使役动词对学习者也会产生不同的习得难度。本研究拟回答以下三个问题： (1) 中国英语学习者以预想的方式学习英语心理使役动词吗? (2) 受汉语影响，中国英语学习者多使用句法使动结构而较少使用词汇使役用法吗? (3) 中国英语学习者对Worry类词的使役用法较熟悉，而对该类词的起始结构较陌生吗? 依据现有的英语心理使役动词理论研究，我们把英语心理使役动词细分为三类。我们讨论“使役”因素如何影响这类动词的习得。通过与汉语心理使役动词进行比较，对中国英语学习者习得英语心理使役动词提出三个假设。为回答以上问题，该研究使用语法对错判断对中国三个地区几所大学共100名学生的英语心理使役动词的掌握情况进行了测试。分数用SPSS统计软件进行统计。结果显示中国英语学习者习得英语心理使役动词的顺序如下：惊诧类词汇→满意类词汇，忧虑类的使役化形式→忧虑类的起始结构。我们得出的结论是：中国英语学习者对英语心理使役动词的学习存在层次性，汉语对中国学习者学习这些词汇产生很大的影响。
