以关联理论为视角的《彼得·潘》语用含糊现象研究

内容摘要

含糊是人际会话中的一种常见语言现象。含糊语言的使用在交际中不仅普遍而且无法避免。人们能够意识到这种用法严格或直观地说并不正确,但是这些偏离正确的用法在会话中未受关注或质疑。含糊一直以来是哲学的领域,继而语言学家开始研究含糊现象。然而,截至目前语言学领域对含糊的研究主要集中在语义含糊上,而语用含糊的研究不是很多。Sperber and Wilson指出关联原则能很好地说明在交际过程中为何人们有时在即使存在相对精确的表达,仍采纳其对应的含糊语言。也就是说,关联原则能够解释人们为何即使存在相对精确的表达,仍使用并能理解含糊表达方式。本研究的重点是尝试建构一个基于关联理论的语用含糊解读机制,这一机制将应用于作品《彼得·潘》语用含糊的解读分析。本研究包含以下五部分：第一部分本研究的介绍,包括研究目的、研究意义、研究目标和方法、研究问题以及本研究的总体结构。第二部分文献综述,首先介绍国内外关于含糊的研究成果,语用含糊的概念,语用含糊的本质和特点,语用含糊的研究范畴以及相关术语研究。其次介绍关联理论的三个重要假设：关联与认知,关联与交际,关联与理解。第三部分语用含糊解读机制的建构,将尝试着建构一个以关联理论为基础的语用含糊解读机制,并详细阐述语用含糊解读成功的条件,语用含糊解读中的主要因素及其关系,语用含糊解读中的推测程序,以及该解读机制的特点。第四部分语用含糊解读分析,以本研究建构的语用含糊解读机制为工具,分析听话人如何解读《彼得·潘》中的非寓意和寓意语用含糊现象,进而捕捉交际意图。非寓意含糊和寓意含糊的解读分析将验证把关联期望纳入含糊解读的设想是否可行。进而对非寓意含糊和寓意含糊的解读过程进行对比和分析。第五部分本研究的总结,指出本研究的理论及现实启示以及本研究的不足,提出进一步研究的建议。
