语用原理视角下的语用歧义研究

内容摘要


语用歧义研究具有重要的理论意义和实践意义。本文尝试运用合作原则,言语行为理论,面子理论和关联理论四大语用原理,多角度地探讨发生在语用层面上的歧义,即语用歧义,较为深入地分析语用歧义形成的原因,并在此基础上,动态地研究语用歧义在交流中所实现的语用价值和语用功能。表明语言使用者在交流中,理解并运用语用歧义可以更好地促进交流,实现交际目的。 本文主要侧重分析在交流中理解语用歧义的产生及其功能的实践意义。就歧义研究现状来看,无论是传统的歧义分类研究,还是目前的语用歧义研究,多为理论方面的阐述,而缺少对语言交流和表达方面的研究。传统的歧义研究仅仅局限在语义范畴内,把歧义分为语音歧义,词汇歧义和结构歧义。目前的语用歧义研究较多地关注“何为语用歧义”等问题。鉴于此,本文运用四大语用原理,结合大量实例,较为深入地分析了语用歧义形成的原因及其在交流中所实现的语用价值和功能,论证了在语用原理视角下研究语用歧义的必要性和可行性,说话者理解语用歧义形成的原因及其功能,有助于他们在交流中利用语用歧义句的多义性,即巧妙地融合歧义句的语用意义(语用用意)和字面意义,有效地增强语言表现力,给听者以丰富而自由的想象空间。同时,本文对于语用歧义的产生及其功能的阐释,也有助于语言使用者理解语言的丰富性、生动性和灵活性,感受语用歧义在语言使用中的真正力量和魅力,对正确地理解语言和使用语言有一定的实际意义。 本文作者希望通过对语用歧义形成的原因及其功能的尝试性研究,给英语教学带来一定的启示。
