教师角色对非英语专业大学生自主学习的影响

内容摘要

在过去的二十几年里,教学领域发生了的巨大变化,其中一个重要的变化就是教学过程的焦点由教师转向了学生。由此也出现了许多以学习者为中心的研究领域。在这种形势下,自主学习也以更猛烈的势头向前发展。尽管学习者在自主学习中占据突出的地位,但是另一方面,教师对自主学习也有不可低估的影响。教师作为教学过程的一个极其重要的因素,必然会在很大程度上影响自主学习。因此,有关教师角色对学生自主学习的影响的研究是不容忽视的。本文旨在探寻两大问题:其一是当前教师角色是否有助于非英语专业本科生自主学习,其二是教师是如何影响非英语专业本科生自主学习的。通过问卷调查结果显示,在非英语专业的英语教学中,当前教师的权威地位和主导作用不利于促进学生的自主学习。教师的角色从三个角度影响学生自主学习的发展:认知角度,社会角度和心理角度。教师对认知角度的影响可以进一步分为对元认知方面和认知方面的影响。对元认知方面的影响包含对计划,监控,评价等过程的影响;对认知方面的影响指对一些执行具体直接的任务的策略和技能的影响。教师角色对自主学习社会角度的影响在于教师影响学生的社会交际能力,例如提出问题,与人合作等。对社会角度的影响体现在教师对学生的有关心理状态的一些因素的影响。
