意象图式理论视角下的《狼图腾》英译研究

内容摘要

认知语言学作为一门新兴学科,逐渐成为国内外研究中的热点问题。意象图式理论作为认知语言学中的一个及其重要的理论,随着认知语言学的发展而逐渐不断丰富,近年来也广泛被语言学者所青睐成为认知语言学中的研究热点。作为一个新兴的语言学研究领域,意象图式理论逐渐在此研究领域内崭露头角。本文以《狼图腾》的英译本为研究对象,试图从意象图式理论的角度来分析《狼图腾》英译的得与失,重点讨论意象图式理论的应用,通过对译本的总结性分析研究来探索翻译策略,为认知语言学理论应用到英语翻译研究的探索性尝试。从认知的角度对英译本进行研究仍然是翻译领域的新兴方向,关于意象图式的研究在翻译领域可谓异军突起,但国内在此领域的研究仍然罕见。本文对此方面的研究的可行性进行了充分论述,然后分别以词汇,句子,及语篇方面为论证角度,通过具体译本举例,解读了该理论在《狼图腾》英译本中的运作,提出了意象图式对翻译理论的解释力,通过文化意象传递和语言意象传递两方面论证该理论对文字翻译的指导作用,研究表明,意象图式理论对英译本研究起着重要的指导作用,对英译本研究分析具有一定的解释力。
