从功能翻译角度谈汉语旅游文本中诗歌引文的英译

内容摘要


在过去十年中,旅游产业作为一个新兴产业在中国取得了巨大的发展,其对中国的崛起至关重要。在旅游产业中,旅游文本起着非常关键的作用。大多数情况下,英语是国际旅游交往中唯一的语言媒介,因此,如果中国想吸引更多外国游客前来参观游览,旅游文本的英译至关重要。汉语旅游文本与英语旅游文本有着巨大的差异,其中最显著的差异之一是汉语旅游文本中存在着大量的诗歌引文。然而,传统的翻译方法,不管是直译还是意译显然都无法满足汉语旅游文本中诗歌引文英译的需求。因此,本文试图以德国功能学派理论为基础,找出汉语旅游文本中诗歌引文的最佳英译方法。本文以诺德的文献型翻译和工具型翻译为理论框架,通过分析三种主要旅游文本形式(景点介绍、旅游广告和导游词)中的诗歌引文,分别探讨了两种翻译形式在此类翻译中的指导作用。最后,文章得出如下结论：文献型翻译主要适用于旅游介绍中的诗歌引文翻译,工具型翻译适用于旅游广告中的诗歌引文翻译,而导游词中诗歌引文的翻译则可同时由文献型翻译和工具型翻译进行指导。本论文共分为六个部分(不包括序言和结论)：第一章,简要地介绍了功能翻译理论,包括莱斯的文本分类和文本功能理论,以及诺德的文献型翻译和工具型翻译理论。第二章,简要地介绍了旅游文本及其功能。第三章,介绍了汉语旅游文本的特点,以及其与英语旅游文本的差异。并从文本功能出发,比较了汉语旅游文本中的诗歌引文翻译与单纯的诗歌翻译之间的区别。第四章,探讨了文献型翻译如何指导旅游景点介绍中的诗歌引文的翻译。第五章,探讨了工具型翻译如何指导旅游广告中的诗歌引文的翻译。第六章,探讨了文献型翻译和工具型翻译如何指导导游词中的诗歌引文的翻译。在结论部分,除了对整篇文章进行总结概括之外,论文还提出了其局限之处以及对今后研究的建议。
