内容摘要

作为西方翻译史上两条主线之一，《圣经》翻译有它的特殊性和重要意义。研究《圣经》翻译也因此有特殊的意义。长期以来，《圣经》译者们似乎都倾向直译。上世纪奈达博士等人提出的“动态(功能)对等”是对《圣经》翻译理论和原则的一个创新和突破。本文通过从古到今四个代表性的《圣经》英语翻译文本，探讨并阐述了长期以来有关《圣经》翻译理论和原则的一些转变。并通过对不同文本的对比分析，进一步深入探讨了这些理论和原则的转变是由于译者关注焦点的转变，即从单纯对原文和原作者的关注转移到对读者的理解和反应上面。不但如此，本文还探讨了这个关注点转变是缘于内在更深层次的焦点转变，即从单纯对基督徒心目中的上帝的关注转移到对上帝心意的深层次理解上。正是这两个关注点的转变才造成《圣经》翻译理论和原则的新变化。
