语法转喻的认知研究

本文研究语法转喻,在前人的基础上研究了三个相关问题:1)语法转喻的概念结构有什么自身的特征?2)这种转喻的概念结构是如何产生的?3)语法转喻在语法上是怎么表现的?论文共六章,第一章是引言,介绍选题的意义,研究范围和研究方法。第二章是文献综述,对前人的有关研究做了述评。虽然修辞研究只是把转喻看成是一个辞格,但其中的语义相邻性思想奠定了认知研究的基础。认知语言学家进一步把转喻看成是人类普遍的思维方式之一,认为转喻是从始源到目标的域内映射。语法转喻研究表明转喻是域包孕中包孕域与次域的连续映射。总之,前人的研究重点是在语法转喻的概念结构上。第三章提出三角模型以期对语法转喻进行统一的解释。模型用激活、始源和目标三个概念为支点,三者的联结构成了形式结构、概念结构和逻辑结构。概念结构居于形式结构和逻辑结构之间解决后两者之间的语义冲突,占有核心位置。语义冲突的程度使语法转喻具有可塑性。第四章运用英汉俄三种语言的语料探讨了语法转喻中概念结构(特别是始源)在社会文化语境中的浮现情况。讨论发现始源出现在范畴的上位层次上,这样就解释了始源为何是包孕域并能统领次域。第五章系统讨论语法转喻的语法表现。本章把动作ICM中的语义角色用于转喻的解释中,语义角色的转喻与语法关系的矛盾是语法转喻在语法上的表现,这一表现决定着形式结构中的始源不能被修饰被移位。同时,跨语言语料还表明,始源可与不同的激活联结,形成不同的语法转喻。最后一章为结论。本文的研究得出以下结论:1)语法转喻是解决形式结构与逻辑结构之间语义冲突的,冲突的程度决定着语法转喻具有可塑性;2)始源出现在范畴的上位层次,因此具有语义内涵;3)在语法表现上,始源联着概念结构,因此不能被修饰或移位;同时语义角色和语法关系的不一致性正是语法转喻在语言结构上的特征。
