功能翻译理论视角下同声传译中冗余信息的处理

内容摘要

同声传译是在有限的时间内将一种语言转化为另一种语言的活动。如笔译译员,同传译员也经常在实践中遇到信息冗余造成的困难。在同声传译中,译员对冗余信息的处理程度直接关系到其翻译的效率和质量。因此,有必要对冗余信息的成因、分类及可能的解决途径进行分析。本文首先通过运用信息论理论对同声传译中的冗余信息现象的成因和类型进行分析,并针对同声传译特点尝试着将同传中的冗余信息现象按照语言结构、语言转化、跨文化交际、同传中的时间因素及文本和听众类型进行分类。针对这些类型,本文列举出同声传译中的大量实例,并根据功能翻译中的目的论、文本类型等理论针对不同类型的信息冗余现象为不同的处理方法寻找充分的理论根据。通过实例分析,本文意在说明功能翻译理论对同声传译中冗余信息的处理具有指导作用并在一定程度具有启发意义。同时,在功能翻译理论中目的论、忠实法则及连贯性法则的指导下,本文还尝试性地探讨了同声传译中信息冗余的处理尺度。
