科研论文引言的体裁分析：中英文引言对比

内容摘要

如今,英语已成为了世界上最重要的交流语言。在学术界,英语也被广泛应用,并成为众多学术专著和期刊的通用语言。因此,书面英语,尤其是针对书面英语这种体裁的体裁分析得到了学者的关注。前言部分作为整篇文章的点睛之笔,也被认为是最棘手的部分,并得到了研究者最多的关注。在这众多的研究成果中,John Swales的“Create A Research Space”模式是被最广泛接受的。本研究是对英文前言和中文前言的对比分析,旨在探索两种语言的前言在体裁结构上的不同。本文选取了40篇语言学和语言教学领域的科研论文前言形成语料库:20篇英文前言分别出自期刊English For Specific Purposes和Language Teaching Research; 20篇中文前言分别出自《现代外语》期刊和《外语教学与研究》期刊。在研究中,Swales的CARS模式被作为了分析标准。研究结果表明,近年来的英文前言的结构已不再和CARS模式完全契合,甚至出现了一些附加语轮。如,“背景信息”语轮并未包含在CARS模式中,但却出现在许多的英文前言中。中文前言的体裁结构与CARS模式基本吻合,但由于两种语言文化的差异,中文前言中也出现了特有的一些步骤,如作者从中文科研论文前言中总结出了新的语轮:“附加信息”。在一些语轮中,如“文献综述”,出于中国文化中的谦让和内敛,中文前言与英文前言有所不同,作者只对其研究领域中的研究成果进行综述,并不进行评价和批评。本文的主要目的在于对中英文前言进行对比分析,总结两者之间的异同;并将中英文前言的体裁结构与CARS模式进行对比。目的在于为英文与中文学术写作教学提供帮助。
