内容摘要

中国承包商承包实施的国际工程是一种多元化的文化环境,国际工程管理从某种程度上讲也是一种跨文化交流。国际工程项目的灵魂——项目经理在国际工程项目实施以及与项目各方交流中,有些不理解或不了解对方不同的思维方式以及各异的文化背景,有时困惑,有时甚至引发行为上的冲突。如何减少跨文化差异造成的摩擦并消除文化差异障碍,这对研究国际工程中有效的跨文化商务沟通提出了新课题。基于以上原因,本文首先介绍了荷兰学者Geert Hofstede的国家文化维度以及美国学者Edward Hall的高低文化语境的文化维度理论。。Hofstede的国家文化维度理论包括集体主义一个人主义、不确定性的规避、权力差距、男子主义—女子主义以及儒家思想。Hall的文化理论最重要的部分为高语境与低语境,而跨文化交际能力主要体现在动机、知识和技巧等方面。另外,论文探讨了文化、跨文化商务沟通、国际工程以及项目经理在国际工程中跨文化商务沟通能力的关系。文化商务沟通中,由于沟通各方各自处于不同的文化背景中,虽然目标为共同目标,但如果不了解自己以及对方的文化,结果势必对项目按时有序实施造成影响。接着本文阐述了国际商务谈判的原则、特点和过程,并从理论深度分析了文化维度对国际商务谈判的影响。本文把跨文化商务沟通的理念应用到国际工程商务交际和国际合同谈判中,通过作者所经历的国际工程管理中的跨文化沟通以及合同谈判中的具体事例为材料,从跨文化角度分析了国际工程商务沟通和合同谈判中的文化影响,解决由文化差异所产生的跨文化交际困惑,指出国际工程的项目经理必须从知识、动机、技巧等方面提高跨文化交际能力,并提出了建设性的跨文化交际建议,帮助中国承包商采用与集体主义以及个人主义文化相匹配的商务沟通策略。最后论文在以上讨论的基础上对整篇论文进行总结,指出多元文化工程已经普及。为了获得国际工程项目的经济和文化上的成功,中国承包商在国际工程项目实施中,必须对文化具有敏感性,并积极去了解、适应、接受对方文化,以全球化的思维模式和地方化的操作模式进行有效的跨文化商务沟通。
