中专学生英语词汇学习策略研究

内容摘要

英语词汇学习策略是研究第二语言习得的学者和英语教师一直关注的课题。本文目的是要了解网管专业的学生英语词汇学习策略的观念和使用词汇学习策略的总体情况,并在此基础上对这些学生进行词汇策略培训,研究培训是否能促进学生的词汇学习,提高总体成绩。本文以0’Malley and Chamot(1990)的学习策略分类为基础。调查了22个网管专业学生的词汇学习观念和词汇学习策略。收集数据的方法包括调查问卷和两份测试卷。研究发现;(1)学生认为应该在上下文中和通过运用来学习单词。(2)认知策略被较频繁使用。(3)三个常用的策略是选择注意、查字典和死记硬背策略。(4)高级组较低级组更常使用策略进行词汇学习。(5)后测成绩与前测成绩存在明显差异。针对以上研究结果逐一分析了原因,并提出了对英语词汇教学和学习的启示。
